2026 Annual General Meeting
Dear Members,
This is a reminder for the 2026 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Conservative Party of British Columbia, which will be held as follows:
Date: Thursday, April 30, 2026
Time: 6:00 PM
Format: Virtual
This AGM is being convened to meet the Party’s statutory and constitutional obligations. The business of the meeting will be procedural in nature and limited to items required under the Constitution and Bylaws, including the presentation of financial information.
The agenda for this meeting is strictly related to presenting the previous year’s financials. There will be no elections or policy/constitutional debates occurring at this meeting. This is a statutory meeting that will likely last no longer than an hour.
Board elections, policy and constitution debates are all to occur at our in-person convention, which we look forward to hosting early next year.
The agenda for the AGM may be found here.
In accordance with the Party’s Constitution and Bylaws, the Chair will preside over the meeting and determine the conduct of business. There will be no new business from the floor. To participate in the AGM presentation as a delegate, you may register your interest at membership@conservativebc.ca.
Delegate Selection Meeting Notice
Please take this as Notice for any potential Delegate Selection Meetings (DSM). These DSMs will be held between April 21st and April 28th. The deadline to register your interest will be April 20th, unless you are an automatic delegate, as noted below.
In some cases, a DSM will be necessary in order for the local Riding Association to determine their delegate for the AGM. Where there are fewer than 10 applicants in a specified riding, a DSM may not be necessary. In ridings without a Riding Association, it will be first come first serve.
If you are a Riding Association President or an elected MLA, you are an automatic delegate. Please also submit your registration interest to membership@conservativebc.ca.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring this required meeting is conducted efficiently and in good order.
Sincerely,
Conservative Party Board of Directors
