Michele Lau is the Conservative Party of BC candidate for New Westminster-Coquitlam.
Michele Lau is an accomplished financial services executive and entrepreneur with more than 20 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, and private business leadership.
Following her banking career, Michele transitioned into entrepreneurship and financial advisory, founding and leading ventures in hospitality, real estate, and investment management. Her combined experience in institutional finance and private enterprise provides a strategic perspective on capital allocation, risk oversight, and sustainable business growth.
Michele is co-founder of the World Trade Centre Okanagan, the 8th licensed centre in Canada. With 300+ centres in over 100 countries, it connects Canada’s dynamic regions to global markets.
Michele holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University. She is an active community leader, a participant with the Vancouver Board of Trade and on the board of the Vancouver College Parent Association, where she leads fundraising and community engagement initiatives.
