VICTORIA, B.C.: “Last night, the entire NDP caucus voted against educating BC school kids on the serious harms of drug use by opposing my private member’s bill M 213, the Drug Use Prevention Education in Schools Act, 2025.

Bill M213 was designed to cut through dangerous and confusing NDP rhetoric on “harm reduction” by sending a clear message to BC school kids: Drugs are dangerous.

Rather than promoting clear drug abstinence and deterrence in our schools, this government has instead chosen to continue handing out colourful flashcards advertising drugs and brainwashing school kids on “safe supply”.

I find it deeply concerning that this government can’t put their radical ideology aside for a single second to protect BC school kids from life-destroying drugs. Conservatives will end ideology in the classroom and restore common sense to education in British Columbia.”
