Alexander Muir is the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Vancouver-Little Mountain.
Born in Vancouver, Alexander grew up in Victoria and moved across the country as a child, living in Ottawa, Toronto and Edmonton before coming home to Vancouver to complete high school. As an athlete, Alexander represented Team BC in rugby, and earned his first cap for Canada’s U20 national team against Samoa at the 2025 Pacific Nations U20 Cup. After spending two years studying and playing rugby at University College Dublin, he returned home to Vancouver to finish his degree in political science at the University of British Columbia.
As a communications staffer in the Office of the Leader of the Official Opposition in Ottawa, he assisted in speech and press release writing and preparing Question Period materials on housing, forestry and resource issues.
He believes a new generation of British Columbians deserves a province they can afford to build a life in and a government willing to fight for them.
