Carson Binda is the Conservative Party of BC candidate for Vancouver-Quilchena.
Carson was the B.C. Director of the Canadian Taxpayers Federation, where he advocated for lower taxes, accountable government and responsible public spending. He regularly appears in provincial and national media and has written extensively on B.C. politics, taxation and government accountability.
Before joining the CTF in 2022, Carson worked in senior roles on political campaigns at the municipal, provincial and federal levels while studying at the University of British Columbia. He served as a logistics officer in the Canadian army reserves.
Carson spent much of his childhood and adolescence living abroad, including in Yemen, Kosovo, Nigeria and Malta. Those experiences gave him an early interest in government, public institutions and the impact political decisions can have on people’s everyday lives.
Carson lives in Vancouver with his fiancée and their Bernese Mountain Dog. Outside of work, he can usually be found hiking and scrambling in the mountains of British Columbia.
