Deep Singh Sandhu is a seasoned businessman, longshoreman, and community engagement specialist with over two decades of leadership and entrepreneurial experience. With a strong background in forestry, real estate, and asset management, he has successfully led large-scale projects, driven business growth, and managed diverse teams across multiple sectors.
A long-time resident of Vancouver, BC for over 35 years, Deep is deeply committed to community service and fostering meaningful connections. Drawing from his fourth-generation
Canadian heritage, he is a recognized cultural ambassador between the Sikh community and the Tl’etinqox First Nations.
In this capacity, he has organized initiatives that unite youth in exploring and appreciating their shared cultures and histories.
Deep Singh is also a dedicated volunteer at Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen, where he provides meals to Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside, and actively contributes to the Khalsa Diwan Society and other local community initiatives.
A former Reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces, Deep holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Marketing from the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC). His passion
for mentoring young people is reflected in his previous role as a BC Field Hockey youth player representative, where he inspired youth to pursue excellence in athletics. He has organized various community events and sports tournaments to promote healthy lifestyles and community service.
Fluent in English, Punjabi, and Hindi, Deep has a strong personal interest in sports, nature, outdoor activities, reading and continuous learning. Deep resides in Vancouver with his wife, where they remain dedicated to both their professional endeavors and active community involvement.
