Lisa is a third-generation Vancouverite, finance and technology professional, business owner, experienced board member and proud mother of two. She holds a BSc in Mathematics from UBC.
With a career grounded in finance and business, Lisa brings an analytical approach to government, particularly the sustainability of British Columbia’s growing debt. She believes we must grow our economy and create prosperity rather than continue increasing taxes on people and families already struggling with housing costs, rent and everyday essentials.
Lisa has eight years of board governance experience, including working with independent and alternative schools. Passionate about helping children who learn differently, she worked with government and Ministry officials on funding, accreditation and educational programming. She believes every child deserves an education that recognizes their abilities, offers meaningful choice and prepares them for the future.
Her commitment to community extends beyond the boardroom. Lisa has spent years helping people facing financial hardship navigate housing and social programs, avoid eviction, access resources and file their taxes. She believes everyone deserves a pathway to stability, including access to treatment and recovery services when they are ready to seek help.
Lisa is stepping forward because she remembers a British Columbia where families could build a future and believes our province is worth fighting for. She wants to restore affordability, protect property rights, attract investment and strengthen healthcare and education.
Her approach to housing is shaped by both experience and family history. Her father, as Mayor of Vancouver, was instrumental in the development of False Creek and Fairview Slopes — examples of thoughtful density supported by infrastructure and livable neighbourhoods. Lisa believes communities should grow thoughtfully, with the schools, transportation and services needed to support them, rather than simply meet provincial government quotas.
Her vision is a British Columbia where renters have housing security, families can afford to live, businesses can thrive and future generations have the opportunity to build a life here.
