VANCOUVER, B.C. – The Conservative Party of BC officially nominated 93 candidates today. That means the party will be represented in every riding in the province, giving British Columbians the opportunity to vote for strong leadership for serious times.

From Vancouver Island to the Peace, from the Lower Mainland to the Kootenays, these 93 candidates represent real British Columbians from every walk of life. They are business owners, farmers, teachers, doctors, tradespeople, first responders and community leaders.

“I am proud of this team and of the way it came together,” said Lorne Doerkson, Leader of the Conservative Party of BC. “In less than two weeks, 93 outstanding British Columbians stepped forward because they love this province and believe in its future. For nearly a decade, BC has been missing strong leadership, and during these serious times, this Conservative Party of BC has shown we’re ready for government.”

Despite the NDP cynically calling an election to grab power, they still failed to find 93 candidates to run under their banner. After nine years, even people who once stood with the NDP can see that BC needs a change. While the NDP scrambled, Conservatives brought together a full team ready to serve every corner of BC

“The enthusiasm we’ve seen across BC has been incredible,” said Mauro Francis, President of the Conservative Party of BC. “In every region, from small towns to big cities, local members and volunteers stepped up to find great candidates and get them nominated. British Columbians are ready for change, and we’re seeing that energy in every riding in the province.”

British Columbians are facing serious challenges, from the cost of living to public safety to access to health care. The Conservative team offers a clear choice: a unified, experienced team focused on getting B.C. back on track and restoring confidence in our province’s future.
