We will cut provincial income taxes by $1,000 a year for nearly every working British Columbian and $2,000 for the average couple, providing much-needed relief to families struggling with the rising cost of living.

A Conservative government will raise BC’s basic personal exemption from $13,216 to $32,000, making it the most generous in Canada. For a typical two-income family, that means $167 more every month to help cover the rising cost of gas, groceries, and everyday essentials.

After nine years of NDP government and more than 40 tax increases, British Columbians are paying more and getting less in return. Conservatives will make life more affordable by letting British Columbians keep more of their hard-earned money.
